Why You Shouldn’t Add A Current Job To An Old Resume

Why You Shouldn’t Add A Current Job To An Old Resume

I’m asked to “update” a resume with a current job several times a week from “never-been-my-clients-before” clients and current/prior clients.

For those who have never been our client before, I don’t rewrite/edit/update resumes we didn’t initially write … for the reasons I outline in this video.

And for clients who we last did their documents, say 2 or more years ago, we don’t want to “just add the new job” for reasons I list in the video.

Once you have watched it, what do you think?

Am I wrong? Too rigid?

I welcome your thoughts.

And if you want to see resumes that landed interviews (and some pretty bad “before” resumes), join my next no-cost training.
